THE AVIARY RESIDENTS

A very bonded pair of birds that found their way to Birds Anonymous as Sun Conures - but perhaps are a Jenday Conure male (Mango) and a Sun Conure hen (Precious).  Fairly quiet compared to other Suns, they are a pleasant  and brightly colored pair of birds in the aviary!  Precious laid her first clutch of eggs in early 2022.  Each baby has had a different pattern of orange and yellow feathers through the shoulder of an otherwise green wing.  Appearing as first generation hybrid Jenday and Sun Conures, we affectionately call their colorful offspring "Sunday Conures".     

A striking pair of birds with an amazing personality, Turquoise Green Cheek Conures!  Their feather shading and dark beak give these little guys the visual pizazz to match their personality!  Green Cheek Conures of any color are spirited little birds, easily trained and have a considerable companion lifespan.    

A Congo African Grey, playful and talkative, smart and sometimes onery, Pancho is a bachelor resident of Birds Anonymous. Despite declining vision since hatching, Pancho has made himself useful in the aviary by giving his aviary-mates entertaining feats of acrobatics, mimicry and ventriloquism.
